Meet the Navigators
During my time as a student worker in Indiana University of Pennsylvania’s Marketing and Communications department, my team and I were tasked with creating a video that highlighted a new department for students. The department ensures that each student at the university has a contact called a navigator. The navigators are there to help students navigate college, whether it’s about scheduling classes, billing or transferring, a students assigned navigator is their point of contact to help them find the right people to talk to. To help familiarize students I created this concept of having a fun yet memorable way of familiarizing the department. I filmed, scripted and directed this video, that was released on Instagram and amassed over 20 thousand views on the platform.
The Haunting of Breezedale
This video was also created during my time as a student worker at Indiana University of Pennsylvania. We were tasked with creating fun videos that matched the holiday theme in October. I created the idea of a ghost hunt on campus, as we have a ghost hunting club on campus, and at the time ghost hunting was very popular on YouTube. This video is the teaser to a two part video series on exploring campus’s most famously haunted building Breezedale, which is where the Alumni Center is on campus. All together the videos have amassed 32 thousand views on Instagram alone.
Got Ethics?
I created this photography project to highlight the ethical issues associated with dairy farming. This project required me to use professional studio lighting and equipment. I submitted this project as a final assignment in the highest-level photography class available. The project received an A.
This project was to showcase my skills in a lighting studio. I focused three different lights onto my subject to create a white light on the face and have a tri-colored shadow effect on the background. This photo was taken on a DSLR camera in manual mode. Every week for a lighting photography class we had to come up with a new concept of lighting and this image was my favorite and suggested by my professor to be entered into photography contests.
This project received an A.
This project also received an honorable mention in the Photo Review 2024 Contest.
After Effects Animation
After I graduated I wanted to teach myself how to animate in after effects as I see it as an opportunity to stay creative, elevate videos and stay competitive in the digital marketing field.
